Privacy Policy

All in One Practice (“the App”) is developed and operated by Pinenode (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email contact@pinenode.com.

Summary

• We collect only what the App needs to work: your account details, your practice content, and basic usage information.
• We do not use third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• You can delete your account and its data from inside the App at any time.

Information we collect

Category	Examples	Why

The App does not request access to your contacts, location, or photo library beyond a picture you explicitly choose as a profile photo. It requests microphone access only to tune your instrument and record practice sessions.

How your information is used

• To provide, maintain, and secure the App and your account.
• To store your recordings and practice history so they’re available across your devices (when you enable iCloud backup or share to the community).
• To show content you choose to share to the audience you select (friends, a specific person, or the public community feed).
• To respond to support requests and reports of abuse.
• To understand which features are used so we can improve the App. This analysis is done in aggregate and is not used to track you.

Community content

When you share a recording or post for feedback, it is visible to the audience you pick. Other users can listen, comment, and leave a rating. You can delete your posts, and you can block another user so their posts and comments are hidden from you. You can report content that violates our guidelines; reports are reviewed and acted on, typically within 24 hours.

Service providers

We use the following processors to run the App. They handle data on our behalf under their own terms:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) — account authentication and storage of your account, practice content, and recordings. Data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure.
• Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple — optional login methods.
• Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing.

We do not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics that track you across other services.

International transfers

Our providers process and store data primarily in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the safeguards offered by those providers (such as standard contractual clauses).

Data retention

• Account and practice data are kept until you delete your account.
• Recordings you share to the community on the free tier are removed from cloud storage after 30 days; the local copy on your device is unaffected.
• Abuse reports are retained as needed to enforce our guidelines and comply with law.

Your choices and rights

• Access and correction — view and edit your profile in the App.
• Deletion — delete your account and associated data in Profile → Account → Delete Account. You can also email us to request deletion.
• Blocking — block or unblock other users in Profile → Account → Blocked Accounts.
• Microphone — revoke microphone access at any time in the iOS Settings app (some features will stop working).

If you are in the EEA/UK, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, and to object to processing. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information as those terms are defined by California law. To exercise any right, contact contact@pinenode.com.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to your content is restricted by server-side security rules so that, by default, only you and the people you share with can read it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you in the App.
